• A reorganization took place at a latest PECCI Special Board Meeting. Filmore was unseated as Treasurer and elected as Asst. Secretary. Uson was elected VP. Mendoza is now Secretary. Pascual retains the Chairmanship.

• A Committee headed by Cesar Mendoza was constituted. Atty. Arevalo is being invited to be a member. It is tasked to look into the options for PECCI to take in lieu of the end of its Corporate life come December 6, 2008. Below is the content of email sent by Cesar Mendoza to the addressees:

Gentlemen,

Your PECCI Board, in its executive session dated December 15, 2007 has decided to form an independent/consultative committee to study and evaluate the best option to take in relation to the forthcoming end of cooperative existence of PECCI on December 4, 2008. In addition to studying and evaluating the best option to take, the said committee shall liaise with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and/or to any government entities to ensure that the same will accept and eventually approve any petition/request which PECCI will file for the purpose.

You have been one of those selected to be a member of this independent committee.

We will appreciate receiving your acceptance and/or comments to this appointment via email. Should you accept, you will thereafter receive a formal letter of appointment where we will request you to signify your conformity for formality and documentation purposes.
